Ever since Trump became president, our economy has been becoming stronger and stronger. or example, retail sales rose 0.4% in January, the Consumer Price Index rose 0.6%, and overall industrial production fell 0.3% in January. The economy has added 227,000 jobs in January, which will ultimately lower the unemployment rate. Furthermore, the number of people who file for unemployment is becoming lower and lower by the week. Because of this, people are starting to come up with ways to cap the market. For example Janet Yellen, the chairwomen of the Fed, proposed an interest rate increase in an effort to keep the economy form overheating and for inflation to not become a issue. The stock market has also reached new all time highs in the recent months since Trumps inauguration.

I think the economy is doing well because Trump is creating jobs, which somewhat influences economy. To keep it going strong I think we should keep creating jobs which influences people the buy more things which boosts economy.

Also Janet Yellen's, theory on raising income tax to avoid economic overheating sounds very effective. I believe that Trump is proving to be suitable in an economic setting, but as an overall President I'm not so sure.

ReplyDeleteI feel that the news is really focused on Trump's action on immigration, so I don't really know a lot about what Trump is doing for jobs and the economy in America. I believe that we'll have to wait to see the effects of Trump's actions in the long run.

Despite some of Trumps racist or unwelcoming remarks to immigrants, he has made a beneficial impact such as creating jobs. However, I think he needs to change his view on immigrants in order to keep our economy strong because immigrants serve as a huge component to our stable economy.

While other social issues could be controversial, with time the economics success that comes with de-regulating many business and putting, although more pricey, american services and goods first, our nation can settle into a higher economic standing and then be able to take care of other social issues which come after.

So we are seeing the bounce back of America after taking that "L" for like a decade. ReplyDeleteOur economy has been slightly strengthened due to the fact that Trump is a businessman. However, some of the decisions that Trump has made since becoming president are extremely controversial and disliked. Some of these including his deportation of immigrants and ban on travel to and from certain countries. I am not certain what Trump will do with his presidency, but it seems to be a little shaky so far.

There are a lot more components that go into being the President of the united states and I believe that he could cause a serious problem in the way he intends to handle many issues.
